About
MathSolver.site is an independent project with one goal: free math tools that show their work.
MathSolver.site is built and operated by Jimmy as an independent project, no corporation, no investors, no growth team. It started from a simple frustration: the best-known math solvers show you an answer and then charge you to see how they got it.
What we believe
- Steps are the product. An answer without working teaches nothing. Every calculator here shows its full step-by-step reasoning.
- Answers must be computed, not guessed. Each tool runs a deterministic calculation engine, the same computation produces the answer and the steps, so they can never disagree.
- Free means free. No accounts, no paywalled steps, no “3 free solves per day.” The site is supported by unobtrusive advertising, never by locking answers away.
- Privacy by architecture. All calculations run in your browser. There is no account system, so there is nothing to leak.
What we are not
We are not a tutoring company, not an accredited educational institution, and not affiliated with Microsoft, Google, Desmos, or any solver app mentioned on this site. Tool scopes are stated honestly on each page, for example, the calculus tools currently handle polynomials, and the pages say so.
